Hebrews 13:4 says, “Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled..” Eternal Life Ministries is honored to possess a priceless and informative 14-week marriage information course that is geared especially for engaged and married couples who are seeking to understanding the biblically instructed intention for marriage. This course teaches the participants about the importance of open and honest communication, the proper conduct of engaged couples, and why Biblical principles are the essential foundation for every successful marriage. It is a fact that 1 out of 3 marriages are troubled and nearly half of all first marriages and 60% of all second marriages will end in divorce.  With such grim statistics, we believe that the institution of marriage is sacred and that God requires us to be good stewards over this precious gift. We believe that Christians will bring an abundance of glory and honor to the world and the world will see that God’s hand is still on kingdom families today. Our classes intensely examine the topics that are intricately woven into the ministry of marriage such as: the marriage covenant, the roles of the husband and wife, conflict resolution, successful communication, how to honor your spouse, biblical finances, sex and romance, and Godly parenting.   At the beginning of human history, God committed to Adam, the title of the first husband and designed him for a specific responsibility: “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and Keep it” according to Genesis 2:15. We believe that the role of the husband is armament, defender, provider, and covenant protector. We believe that the role of the wife is encourager, intercessor, helper, and advocate.
